John has nearly a decade of experience in the R&D tax credit and specialty tax consulting space and currently serves as Director of R&D Tax Credits at Pease Bell. He specializes in helping middle-market and growth-oriented companies identify, document, and defend federal and state research tax credit opportunities across industries including manufacturing, construction, software, engineering, and professional services. Prior to joining Pease Bell, John held R&D tax consulting roles with firms including KPMG, CliftonLarsonAllen, and Clarus/Arvo Tech, where he advised clients ranging from privately held businesses to large multi-entity organizations.
Education
John earned his Bachelors degree with a concentration in Accounting and Business Management from Walsh University. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive experience in research credit methodology, technical interviews, and process improvement initiatives related to Sections 41 and 174.
Personal Life
Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling, and golfing. He is passionate about building relationships within the business community and helping companies better understand the value of innovation-focused tax incentives.
