Carol Treska is a senior manager in the firm’s CFO Services department, which caters exclusively to closely held, entrepreneurial, and family-owned businesses. In her 11+ years’ experience prior to joining the firm in 2014, Carol held positions as a senior tax accountant with one of the largest CPA firms in the country and as a director of family office administration and business entities for a wealth management firm.
FOCUS
Carol has a specialization in tax compliance for partnership and S corporation entities as well as the owners’ individual income tax returns, Carol provides tax expertise and personalized consulting to entrepreneurs and their businesses in a variety of industries including service, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, and direct marketing.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Carol is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). As an almost lifelong inner-city Cleveland resident, Carol is passionate about the city and various causes specifically addressing hunger and homelessness. Carol also regularly lends her support to Junior Achievement and is an active volunteer for the St. Augustine Hunger Center.
EDUCATION
Carol received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with honors from Miami University and her Master of Business Administration degree from John Carroll University.
