Even as Pease Bell CPAs has flourished, we stay laser-focused on core CPA service excellence. Firm founder Joe Pease established our client-centric foundation in 1999, gathering a group of like-minded accounting experts on a simple yet powerful premise: focus the practice on tax, accounting, and business consulting services, with nothing but the best possible delivery system. As an entrepreneur himself in the Certified Public Accounting space, Joe understood the critical importance of anticipating client needs no matter the industry.

"We had a good business strategy and great people to execute it," says Joe. “We learned to get back to basics with loyal clients who believe in us. It was about coming out of the box with a tremendous family culture that became part of our DNA.”

In 2017, Akron-based Levin Swedler Kennedy merged its practice with Pease Bell CPAs, increasing our regional footprint and allowing us to deliver additional creative solutions with a wider array of services and expertise. Upon our 20th anniversary in 2019, we announced the appointment of Tax Advisory Services partner Kuno Bell as managing partner. Kuno succeeds Joe, who remains with the firm as a member of the executive board.
