Mark joined Pease Bell in 1990 and serves as lead partner for the accounting and auditing practice. Mark and his team are responsible for performing all of the audit functions for the firm's client companies. prior to joining Pease Bell, Mark spent 11 years with a national accounting and consulting firm. Mark's years of industry knowledge help him understand the accounting ramifications of business operations and translate the complexities to relevant actions.
FOCUS
Mark and his team focus on assurance services for closely-held business and corporations in Northeast Ohio. These services include financial statement reviews, compilations and full audits. Companies in professional services, construction, manufacturing and distributorships have benefited from Mark's experience and expertise.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Active involvement is Mark's passion. He is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mark conducts CPAmerica International-sponsored peer reviews, and is past-chair of the CPAmerica International CPE Executive Committee.
Mark is committed to the development of newer Pease associates and spearheads the firm's mentoring and internal training programs.
EDUCATION
Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio with magna cum laude distinction. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
PERSONAL LIFE
Mark can often be found cheering for local sports teams. He and his wife have two children currently attending college.
