FOCUS
I graduated from Cleveland State University with an MBA and a Master of Accountancy. I earned my CPA licensed in 2016. I did my first internship at a small firm in Seven Hills, Ohio. Then I spent the next 11 years with Sikich where I focused on midsize manufacturing, with a flow through structure and advised on tax matters for the business or individual owners. For the last 5 years, I have been heavily involved with M&A work, gain calculations and deal structure analysis.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
In my personal life, I am getting married in August and have a 17-year-old son. I enjoy volunteering with my church and also sit on the board and finance committee of Open M, a nonprofit located in Akron invested in helping the area's population in need of assistance with food, job placement, or medical services.
EDUCATION
Outside of work, I am a huge animal lover with 2 dogs and 2 cats who spend a lot of time outdoors when we have nice weather. I enjoy gardening, keeping a variety of houseplants and a small vegetable garden in spring and summer. I also am a bookworm and average 55+ book read per year.
